These would help improve employ ability and potentially open up opportunities for small business. Our plan is to begin with having some of the older children in the Children's Home learn vocational skills, and then teach them to these women. Not only would this help the women concerned, but the "teachers" would also gain skills and have an opportunity to serve. Training could include skills such as knitting, tailoring, making handicrafts etc.
These are for cases where the trained women wish to start a small business as a result of their new skill-such as by making and selling handicrafts. We can help them with the initial cost by giving small loans at very low interest rates.
